Chaos Front Tools

Checklists and specs. No fake damage calculator.

Tools Hub

Some wikis ship a damage calculator on day one with made-up formulas. This one will not. Chaos Front tools here are the pins that prevent a bad ending and a bad PC purchase. Open the ending checklist if you are already in-game. Open system requirements if you are still on the store page. Open arena when you need a test fight that does not burn a unique map.

What a tool is on this site

A tool is a page you keep beside the game: a calendar, a spec sheet, a first-hour sequence. It is not a live Gacha banner tracker. Chaos Front is single-player. The only rotating clock is C.E.29.

Use guides when you need a teacher. Use units when you need roles. Use this hub when you need a yes/no list.

Ending checklist

The store warning is a tool whether or not we pretty it up. Star 9 before 30/12/C.E.29. Unique missions over infinite Wait. Trusted faction if you want late ARMS. The checklist page is that list without the essay from endings.

Specs and Deck

Minimum is an i5-class CPU, 4 GB RAM, GTX 860M-class GPU, DirectX 9, 2 GB disk. Recommended is 8 GB RAM, GTX 1060-class, 4 GB disk. Steam Deck is Verified. Full details and the Windows 10 client caveat live on system requirements.

What we are not building yet

  • A unit DPS sheet with invented numbers.
  • A recruitment database of all one hundred names on day one.
  • A hex solver.
  • A code redeemer. There are no codes.

If a later patch publishes stable formulas, they will get a tool page. Until then, honesty beats a slider.

Suggested pins

  1. Ending checklist
  2. Getting started
  3. Combat
  4. Builds
  5. Launch notes

That is enough browser tabs. The rest of the wiki is for when a specific job breaks.

How to use the two tools together

Buy on a machine that matches system requirements. Then pin the ending checklist before you open the shop. Hardware cannot save a star-8 file in December. A Verified Deck badge cannot Sortie for you. Specs are a door. The checklist is a clock.

If you came here looking for a “Chaos Front calculator,” use in-game inspect: HP, EN, morale, range. Those numbers are real. A fan DPS slider on launch week would be fiction. When Han Zhiyu publishes a formula in a log, it will get a page. Until then, combat is the closest thing to a solver.

First-hour tool sequence

  1. Confirm Windows 10/11 and disk space.
  2. Confirm language (this wiki: English, Japanese, Spanish, Traditional Chinese).
  3. Create a Lycurgus or Hongyu file, not five test files.
  4. Tick the weekly boxes on the checklist after the tutorial.
  5. Only then open builds and spend gold.

Tools exist to stop two launch-week failures: refunds from a PC that never met DirectX 9, and bad endings from captains who thought Wait was free.

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Quick answers drawn from the launch build and official notes.

Is there a damage calculator?

No. We will not invent one. Use in-game inspect and combat until official formulas exist.

Is the ending checklist a spoiler?

It lists gates, not last-shot dialogue. The essay version is endings.

Do I need these tools on Deck?

The checklist still applies. Specs are already met if Verified is telling the truth; see system requirements.

Where are redeem codes?

Nowhere. Chaos Front is a paid Steam SRPG. Spend the energy on recruitment instead.
